Honey Glazed Chicken over Potatoes and Veggies

 

Ingredients for Honey Glazed Chicken Skillet:

  • Chicken Thighs – boneless preferred, can also do Chicken Breasts
  • Italian Seasoning – You can make your own from scratch or use a pre-mix seasoning
  • Butter, Olivie Oil, Salt
  • Honey – Any of our honey's will add their own tones to the meal. Be creative and try a few.
  • Sweet Potatoes – cut into small cubes.
  • Brussels Sprouts – swap for fresh-cut green beans, broccoli, or even cauliflower all found at our local farmers market.
  • Garlic – minced

How To Prepare: Honey Glazed Chicken Recipe:

  • You’ll start by seasoning the chicken thighs/breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.  Season to your taste
  • Melt some butter with a small amount of olive oil and salt in an oven-safe skillet, then stir in the honey. Once it’s nice and bubbly, add the chicken and cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet to a dish and keep warm.
  • Add a little more butter and honey to the skillet, then toss in diced sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts along with some garlic. Season to taste and let cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and Brussels sprouts and then pop in the oven for just 15 minutes to finish cooking.
